Information Management Systems

General Requirements

Admission to the Information Management Systems program requires candidates to be a high school graduate or have a General Education Development (GED) certificate. Entering students are also required to interview with an admissions representative and complete the NBC placement test as part of the admissions process.

Course Offerings and Degree Requirements

Students completing degree requirements for an Associate in Applied Science degree in Information Management Systems must complete a curriculum that allows them to develop an understanding of common hardware and software applications, database programming, and HTML. They can choose from one of three areas of emphasis, Computer Programming, Computer Technical Support, or Networking. Below is a list of the required coursework not including 34 additional General Education credit hours.
