Criminal Justice

General Requirements

Admission to the Criminal Justice program requires candidates to be a high school graduate or have a General Education Development (GED) certificate. Entering students are also required to interview with an admissions representative and complete the NBC placement test as part of the admissions process.

Course Offerings and Degree Requirements

Students fulfilling degree requirements for an Associate in Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice must complete a curriculum that teaches the correct methods for identifying potentially hazardous situations, enforcing the legal rights of individuals, thinking critically, and dealing with cultural diversity and group dynamics.
