Centennial Scholarship
This merit- and need-based award was established to assist individuals who could not otherwise afford to go to college. Students must be nominated by an organization or high school counselor in order to be eligible.
Value: Amount varies (covers all tuition and fees not covered by other aid received)
Achievement Scholarship
This merit-based award recognizes exceptional academic achievement, and is given to students who have earned a high school grade point average of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale, or a score of 26 or above on the ACT.

Community Scholarship
This award has been established to reach out to students from the community who would benefit from a Northwestern Business College education, but may be unable to attend college due to financial restraints. Students must provide a personal statement explaining their qualifications and two letters of recommendation from previous teachers, advisors, or counselors.

Board of Directors Scholarship
This merit-based award is given to students who have earned a high school grade point average of 2.75 or above on a 4.0 scale, and who also perform well on NBC’s COMPASS placement test. Students must earn an 84 or better on the reading section, a 43 or better on the math section, and a 77 or better on the writing section.

Merit Scholarship
This merit-based award is given to students who have earned a high school grade point average of 3.0-3.49 on a 4.0 scale, or a score of 20-25 on the ACT.

Military and Family Scholarship
This award offers tuition assistance to veterans of the U.S. military, their spouses, and their children.
Value: $3600 for veterans, $2400 for immediate family members
Academic Scholarship
This merit-based award is given to students entering an Associate in Applied Science Degree program at Northwestern Business College. Student must provide a copy of their official high school transcripts or GED scores, as well as a typed essay of a minimum of 250 words explaining why they want a career in their chosen field and why they feel they would be successful.

Educational Achievement Scholarship
This merit-based award was established to recognize students who did not graduate from high school, yet independently pursued passing the high school equivalency exam to obtain their GED.

Early Incentive for High School Seniors
This award provides a financial incentive to students who enroll full-time in an Associate in Applied Science degree program at Northwestern Business College.

Presidential Scholarship
This merit-based award recognizes exceptional academic achievement and is given to students who have earned a high school grade point average of 2.75 or better on a 4.0 scale, and a score of 20 or above on the ACT.

Transfer Student Scholarship
This award is given to students transferring to Northwestern Business College from another college with a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or better on a 4.0 scale, and a minimum of 18 semester or 24 quarter transferable hours.

Vice Presidential Scholarship
This award is distributed at the end of the Spring Quarter, and is given to students who have completed at least 45 credits, are enrolled in an Associate in Applied Science degree program, and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Students must be nominated by a faculty member from their major department on the basis of professionalism, leadership, and service in order to be eligible.

Departmental Scholarships
These merit-based awards are given to Associate in Applied Science degree-seeking students who are attending school full-time and have completed at least 45 credit hours. Each department/program grants one award per year per campus.

Daniel Lawrence Memorial Scholarship for Outstanding Part-Time Students
This merit-based award is awarded annually at the end of the Spring Quarter to one student from each Associate in Applied Science Degree program at each campus. Recipients are selected annually from recommendations made by the program chair person.
